X for Xmas - A Haiku Poetry

Haiku (also called nature or seasonal haiku) is an unrhymed Japanese verse consisting of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables (5, 7, 5) or 17 (5/7/7) syllables in all. Haiku is usually written in the present tense and focuses on nature (seasons)

Shining tiny bells

Stars on conical green tree

Jesus born, merry all round.

S for Soulmate

The most beautiful word that comes in mind with S is Soulmate. I am linking one of my old poems on Soulmate here and writing a fresh TRIOLET on the same theme.

Soulmate

Two hearts grow separate,

Cross, connect, in unison beat,

Long to meet turn as mate,

Two hearts born separate,

Blessed, blissed, rejuvenate,

Live complementing, being complete  

Two hearts born separate,
Cross, connect, in unison beat.

(A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and 7th lines repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital letters representing the repeated lines.)
