F for Flesh & Blood
Ecstatic you were,
O Mama dear,
When first you missed,
Count of days, monthly this year,
Stealthily you checked,
And got assured,
Jubilant at heart,
You announced to world.
Elated Daddy you Hugged tight,
And with Grandma you danced, all night,
To one and all in the world you announced,
Merry was inside, Merry you made loud.
Just three months down the lane,
Why your bliss drained in vain,
I am your own flesh and blood,
What matters if I'm man or dame ?
Let me live, see the new world,
Stand by my side, hold me tight,
I'll hold your head perpetual high,
Do all that a man can try.
More and more, I'll go a step ahead,
Spread your gene, craft new flesh and blood,
Give me life, I'll pass down the line,
You give me name, I'll grow thy scion.

E - End is the Beginning
E - End is the beginning
End is not the end as it seem,
The nascent origin here begin.
Where the horizon kiss the stream,
Golden beam from beyond gleam.
Crawling is loved, but never perpetual,
It needs to end and pave way to foot,
Only When the child sheds fathers grip,
Moves ahead and flies on his own trip.
A wailing daughter leaves her home,
Only to welcome a new sojourn,
Where her maidenhood bids adieu,
Motherhood embraces holy in lieu.
Life is a priceless gift, mortal though,
Journey has to end as years grow.
The remains dissolve in the nature due,
Deeds from here make immortal true.
Thus as the sorrow within grow low and deep ,
Melodies craft sugary and sweet.
To all clouds thus high or low,
There stands a lining true to glow.

Blood Relation
Running across
the hall,
On Mother’s
loud call,
Sitting squeezed
together,
On Father’s
return from stroll.
Murmuring
all nights,
Tucked
in a single quilt tight,
The open
books lay for hours,
Us chattering
merrily hush & quiet.
Divided we stood indoors,
Fighting
for more on all chores,
Together
we stood bonded,
Even against
the Devils outdoors.
Lost all
as we grew,
With
relations that drew new,
Running
after Mirage,
Lost the
bloods’ true hue.

His assuring grasp and confidence atop,
A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 Lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th & 7th lines repeat and the 2nd & 8th lines repeat. The rhyming is ABaAabAB where Capital letters represent the repeating lines.

"Reflections"
- Learnings of Life
A to Z Challenge - writing with alphabets A to Z - one each day - is a real challenge. I have taken it twice in past. It was an enriching experience but an exhausting too. After a break of 3 yrs I'm back . This year I'll take four blogs a day.... different genre - different theme - different blog sites.
Crisp & Rhyming - the style that I love most - the poetic way .. what flows effortlessly. I'll take this as the style for this blog - I'll introspect and reveal - Right that's the theme - "REFLECTIONS" Learnings of Life, A poetic journey. I am sure , you would love this.
So now, stay with me - and this year enjoy the four blogs every day. A side from Reflections , there would be another poetry in HINDI. Aside from these there would be a food blog The Regional Cuisines of India & a fiction Life just in 5 Sentences.
In the past as the challenge I wrote travelogue - all about Himachal Reflections from Adi - A to Z Challenge and made you travel throughout HP - the hill state of India. The next year I took two writings each day - One was my poetic journey Reflections on A to Z 2016 - Let the Soul Pour and the other was Festivals of India Reflections on A to Z 2016 - Festivals of India.
